If you are visiting the area and just need a clean room and hot shower,this place is perfect. Gary is a really nice manager,friendly! The owners should considering filling those nasty pot holes in the entry ways,though.
Nothing but good things to say -- thank you Garry (with two R's)! I am walking across America and needed a place to stay for the night and Garry provided great service and friendly conversation. I hope that during the busy season people come here; it's very charming.
My son and I were traveling and had car issues. Triple A picked up my car and we decided to stay here. The room was clean and we enjoyed the quiet. The weather was so nice that we could open our door and enjoy. Garry the owner was really so nice and my son and I enjoyed our conversation with him in his background and the love he had for the area. It was really quaint and affordable. There is a general store across the street within walking distance which is nice. This is the only motel within several miles, so we were so grateful to have the comfort of just having this blessing as our car was being fixed.
Rooms are a little outdated bed aren't the best but the locations it great!
The man who runs this place is very very nice and caring. Gives a very nice, hometown feeling just like we live! The rooms are a bit older, but the prices and the scenery makes up for the kind of stuff. I couldn't imagine being in the woods just to sit in a room all day, get out and explore forget the room. The site has outside seating all around and the grounds are clean and up kept of pot holes and such! They were super great and nice to us! Wished us well on our long journey.
This is a great little motel, the owners super friendly & will do what he can to make your experience a good one. Easy in & out. Nicer, well more home feeling than any big box motel, give it a try
I like this place. I stay while on the rim fishing and this place is perfect for a low priced place to stay for the night. I read the negative reviews and they all look like they were written by democrats from CA who aren’t used to staying anywhere with less than five stars yet. I hope the, like the rest of us, can learn to appreciate being in the woods, staying overnight so you also do it again tomorrow! Can’t fix them. So let them write their negative reviews so they can dive back to Scottsdale feeling they have left a contribution behind…
I loved my stay here!! Garry the owner was the nicest person I've met in a long while! He was very helpful and gave us lots of information about the area so we could plan our brief visit. The rooms are dated but they are clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. In fact, my husband and I started planning another trip out here before we even checked out haha (:
